The end of October is a wonderful period full of engaging events. Like what? First of all, Halloween – an event widely celebrated in English-speaking countries. For us – English teachers – it is an excellent source of vocabulary. Add to this the fascination of children – linguistic success guaranteed.
However, if you are not convinced about this holiday, we celebrate Pumpkin Day more and more often. A tasty symbol of autumn. Engaging activities can be prepared based on this event.
I invite you to take part in the game. A game in which there may be a different ending each time. In the Halloween version, discover, together with your students, who stole the candies. In the pumpkin version… the pumpkin has disappeared and you need to find the culprit.
